Aisha Buhari Donates 2 Trailer Loads Of Assorted Food Items To Kaduna Citizens for ‎Ramadan

Following the economic hardship being faced in the country, Wife of President ‎Muhammadu Buhari, Hajiya Aishatu Buhari on Thursday donated two trailer loads of food items to Kaduna State Government for distribution to its citizens.

The donation according her was part of her efforts to touch lives of the needy in the society, especially in this difficult times of the economy and in the spirit of the Ramadan season.

Items donated include cartons of Macaroni, Spaghetti, 5kg bags of Semovita and Wheat.

Hajiya Buhari  who was r‎epresented by the Coordinator Buhari support group, Hajiya Binta Mua’azu, ‎said, she feels the pains Nigerians are passing through presently.

She assured however that the pains are temporary‎ as her husband, President Buhari meant well for Nigeria and Nigerians, stressing that the temporary pains will soon be over and Nigerians will begin to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

She explained that the items donated are meant to be shared among Christians and Muslim needy in the state, and called on Muslim faithful to use the Ramadan period to pray for the peace of the nation and our leaders.

Receiving the items onbehalf of the state government, wife of Kaduna State governor, Hajiya Hadiza El-Rufai supported by wife of the Deputy governor, Mrs Ladi Barnabas Bantex‎ commended the President’s wife for the gesture done to the people of the state and prayed Allah to bless her.

Hajiya El-Rufai assured that the items will be distributed to the needy across the three Senatorial zones in the state.

Some of the would be beneficiaries who were present at the presentation of the items also expressed appreciation to the wife of the President, adding that “now we are beginning to feel the impact of the change we clamoured and voted for”.‎
