ACCIF, Commences N14 Million Training Project For Kaduna School

All Children Charity International Foundation (ACCIF), said arrangement has be concluded for the commencement of a one year skills acquisition training programme for ‘hard in hearing’ students of Government Technical College, Malali, Kaduna, Kaduna State.
The project which is being funded by TY Danjuma Foundation, with the sum of over N14 million naira, is aimed at providing the students with skills in various trades to help equip and expose them to a future career beside their courses of study.
ACCIF, Executive Director, Barr. Ranti Daudu, disclosed this during a focal group discussion with the students, as part of the final selection process to determine those that will be participating in the training.
She revealed that out of over 500 organisations that applied for funds for such trainings across the country, ACCIF, came top and their school was selected to benefit from the gesture.
Barr. Ranti, added that, apart from the training which will be mainly shoe making and tailoring, startup equipments are also going to be provided for the beneficiaries at the end of the training.
She assured them that the real change they can relate with has come to stay with them, as new things are going to begun in their lives.
Ranti, also encouraged the students not to be timid and not to allow anyone to make them believe they are disabled, saying “there is ability in disability, so don’t let people push you down, be determine that you will be great.
“You can become the Dangotes, ministers, even president and governors of tomorrow if you are focused throughout the training period and with your performance, you can become a star in life.
“So you must stay away from crime and every social vises that can tarnish your image, because there is hope for you in the future, do not disappoint me.”
Earlier, the principal of the school, Tukur Sani, commended ACCIF, for selecting his school as beneficiary of the project.
He pledged the school’s cooperation and support for ACCIF, assuring that the training centre which is currently under renovation will be completed before the takeoff of the project.
