Maku, a Serial Liar and  Political Burden  – Al-Makura

Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa state has described the former minister of information, Mr. Labaran Maku as a serial liar who  lack decency is his speech.
Reacting to publication in the media alleging that Civil servants are forced to sign payment vouchers, Ahmed Tukur the special assistant on media and publicity to governor umaru Tanko Almakura  challenges Maku to make public any of such payment vouchers.

Tukur explains that what the state government did was physical screening of workers before payment of salaries which were done through E-payments.

“After failing to get workers embark on strike and abandoned the screening Maku has now resort to  imaginary thinking”.
“It is unfortunate that after spending close to ten years in governance through political appointments without any achievements Maku has resort to deceiving people”

He averred that the former minister who has held political offices and spent the highest number of years in governance has brought nothing good to the state, alleging that Mr. Maku was responsible for the backwardness of the state before he took government in 2011.

Al-makura asserted that the former minister has become a burden especially to his northern senatorial zone as Mr. Maku has chosen to mislead his people into decamping from one political party to another without wining even a councillorship seat.

The northern senatorial zone of the state where Maku comes from is backward because he has not influenced any project either officially or personally to the his zone.

Al-Makura averred that it was unfortunate for Mr. Maku to have turned a burial ceremony into a press conference to mislead the general public on his administration’s policies and programmes especially as it concerns the decision by the state government to sale some of her assets because of their deteriorating condition and other issues.

He maintained that the former minister’s antecedent as a serial liar led to his (Maku’s) disgressful sack as the national secretary of the All Progressive Grant Alliance, APGA, calling on the people of the state to be wary of Maku’s propanga to score cheap political point.
