​‎Kaduna Police Command Parades 5 more Suspects in Connection With Southern Kaduna Killings

Kaduna State Police Command on Friday paraded another set of 5 suspects in connection with the killings in Southern part of the state.

 ‎Recall that the police headquarters in Abuja on Thursday had paraded 17 suspects linked to the crisis in the area in possession of cache of ammunitions.

The 5 suspects according the police commissioner, Agyole Abeh were apprehended at Samaru Kataf in Zango Kataf Local Government Area, on their way to attack the community.

‎Commissioner Agyole, said “the arrest of the 5 gunmen who from preliminary investigation were planning an attack in one of the remote settlements and recovered the following in their possession;

“A golf‎ II car with Reg. No. AA 217 NNR, 2 AK-47 rifles, one locally made pistol, 3 live cartridges, 5 mobille phones, assorted charms, a touch light and cash in the sum of N86,000.”‎

‎The suspects are; Ibrahim Aliyu a.k.a Small, Zubairu Adadu, Ibrahim Abdulkareem, Yusuf Amadu and Zakari Usman.

The CP, had earlier‎ noted that, “the determination of the command in pursuance of this objective in seeing that peace also prevail in Southern Kaduna and the State in general has led to series of criminals who are already being processed through the Criminal Justice System.

“In the same vein, priority was also focused on the crisis in Southern Kaduna and to end the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris ordered a robust deployment of Mobile Police Force personnel and other component units of the Force under an exercise codenamed Operation Harmony.

“Today, I am glad to inform you that the operation is yielding positive result.” ‎
