DRAMA! as KDHA Screens LG Interim Management Committee

There was drama today at the plenary of Kaduna State House of Assembly when members of the house were screening the chairmanship and councillors nominees for local government  interim management committees ‎sent by the governor Malam. Nasir El-Rufai.

Two persons whose real names could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report were caught after appearing as nominees for councilors from Kauru Local government before the legislatures and attempted to bear names of persons on the printed list before the plenary session.‎

Their attempt to impersonate failed when the member representing Kauru/Chawai constituency, Dr. Isaac Auta Zankai raised alarm denying them as the real owners of the names before the plenary.

After proper interrogation by the speaker Aminu Abdullahi Shagali, the two agreed that though they are not the original owners of the names on list but that they we’re   however invited to attend the screening by the chairman nominee of their local government and Dr. Auta the same man that exposed them.

In a swift reaction to their allegation against Dr. Auta, he (Dr. Auta) quickly pleaded for mercy and pardon on their behalf. But the speaker later ordered the sergeant at Arm to submit them to the police for proper action.‎

However, the 23 Local government chairmen screened along side their councilors includes Hon. Sani Tanimu (Lere), Alh. Ahmed Haruna Anchau (Kubau), Hon. Dayyabu Paki (Ikara), Engr. Hamza Musa Makarfi (Makarfi), Alh. Shu’aibu Talban (Soba), Dauda Aliyu Abba (Kudan) and Engr. Moh’d Usman (Sabon Gari).

Barr. Ja’afaru Abbas Ibrahim (Zaria), Abdullahi Garba Abbas (Giwa), Alh. Ibrahim Yushau. Rigasa (Igabi), Haj. Hadiza Ladi Yahuza (Chikun), Hon. Ishaya Dansallah (Kajuru), Maj. Yahaya Ibrahim Shinko (Kaduna South), Wing Commander Gambo Ahmed Kurfi (Kaduna North) and Hon. Abdullahi Amir (Birnin Gwari).

Others include Hon. Musa Waziri (Kauru), Ibrahim Baba Akut (Kaura), Dr. Katuka Bege (Jema’a), Hon. Aliyu Anthony Wakili (Zangon Kataf), Shehu Usman Musa Tafa (Kagarko), Mrs. Lanti Waziri Hyet (Jaba), Abel Daniel and Moses Avenjabi as Chairmen from Kachia and Sanga Local government respectively.

The house also screened and confirmed the nomination of Alh. (Dr.) Ibrahim Muhammad Aminu as the Chairman Kaduna State Local Government Service Commission as sent by Governor El-Rufai.

The Speaker also names chairmen, deputies and members to the various house committees with
Bar. Irimiya Ishaku Kantiok as Chairman house committee on Judiciary, Bello Sani Gimi (Finance), Hon. Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani (Ethics), Nuhu Machu Goro Shadalafiya (Information), Haruna M. A. Inuwa (Security), Alh. Mohammed Rilwan (Hajj), Hassan Abdulkadir Turawa (Establishment) and Ibrahim A. Ismail (Land and Survey) to mention but a few.‎
